IECEE 2026 – Advancing Digital Transformation and International Cooperation for the Future of Education
Global education is undergoing profound transformation driven by digital technology and artificial intelligence (AI). Alongside new opportunities for innovation, education also faces the challenge of ensuring that technology contributes to a high-quality, equitable, human-centred learning environment.
In this journey, connection and collaboration among schools, educational organisations, businesses, and experts will be a key driver in collectively shaping the future of education.
Digital Transformation in Education: Bridging Gaps and Advancing Human-Centred Values

In recent years, many educational institutions in Vietnam have proactively adopted digital technologies and artificial intelligence (AI) in teaching and educational management. However, the digital transformation journey continues to face challenges that require further attention to ensure greater coherence and inclusivity:
- Equitable Access: Narrowing gaps in infrastructure and digital capabilities across regions is essential to ensure that students in disadvantaged, remote, and rural areas can also access high-quality education.
- Bridging Technology and Practice: Educational institutions need access to advanced educational models and relevant EdTech solutions, while technology companies need to better understand the practical needs of the education sector in order to develop products that deliver meaningful value.
- Policy and Institutional Support: Policymakers and educational organisations need a multi-stakeholder platform to share experiences, inform policy development, and establish long-term cooperation programmes centred on people and their needs.
These practical challenges highlight the urgent need for an international-scale platform where policymakers, educational institutions, businesses, and experts can engage in dialogue, exchange knowledge, and build meaningful connections to advance the future of education.
IECEE 2026 – Where Knowledge, Technology, and the Spirit of Collaboration Converge
Against the backdrop of digital transformation driving profound changes across the education sector, IECEE 2026 (International Conference on Education Cooperation in the Digital Era – The Education & EdTech Exhibition) is designed as a platform connecting policymakers, educational institutions, universities, EdTech companies, international organisations, experts, and researchers to exchange perspectives on emerging trends, policies, and solutions for advancing education in the digital era.
Co-organised by the Ministry of Education and Training of Vietnam, IECEE 2026 is a major international event bringing together education and educational technology stakeholders. The event is expected to welcome more than 2.000 delegates, 70+ exhibition booths, 50+ participating organisations, and representatives from 40+ countries.
Taking place over two days (8-9 October 2026) on the 2nd Floor of Grand Plaza Hotel Hanoi, IECEE 2026 will feature a series of thematic conferences, an education and EdTech exhibition, and partner networking activities. Together, these activities will help foster innovation and contribute to improving the quality of education in the context of digital transformation.
A key highlight of IECEE 2026 is the diverse participation of international partners and leading names from the global education ecosystem. Delegations and representatives from the United Kingdom, the United States, the European Union, and Canada, alongside international organisations such as UNICEF and Save the Children, will take part in the event, creating a dynamic platform for multi-stakeholder dialogue on education, technology, and international cooperation.
The event will also bring together leading corporations, businesses, and education and technology organisations, including Nguyen Hoang Group, ETS, EFEKTA, Qualcomm, MAXHUB, Meta, Pearson, Cambridge University Press, British Council, and Eduten, among many others. A diverse range of domestic and international higher education institutions will also join the event’s collaborative ecosystem, including Hanoi University of Science and Technology, Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City, RMIT Vietnam, British University Vietnam (BUV), the University of the West of England (UWE Bristol), CHOSUN University, Lethbridge University, and Niagara College Canada.

IECEE 2026 – Advancing Meaningful Impact for Education
With the goal of fostering a modern and globally connected education ecosystem, IECEE 2026 focuses on four key priorities:
- Advancing Global Education Cooperation: Building networks that connect policymakers, educational institutions, and international organisations to share resources, develop academic and training programmes, advance research, and facilitate technology transfer.
- Promoting Human-Centred Technology Solutions: Exploring emerging trends such as AI, STEM, and digital learning, while encouraging technology adoption that remains grounded in human values—making learning more flexible, personalised, and responsive to learners’ individual development.
- Advancing Equity and Access to Learning Opportunities: Supporting the wider adoption of effective digital education solutions in underserved and disadvantaged areas, while strengthening digital capabilities among educators and learners across Vietnam.
- Connecting Education with Business and EdTech: Creating opportunities for schools and businesses to engage, collaborate, and develop technology-enabled solutions that address real-world teaching needs and the evolving demands of the future workforce.
IECEE 2026 aims to serve as a strong platform for advancing multilateral cooperation, sharing knowledge, narrowing development gaps, and collectively shaping a modern, equitable, and human-centred education system in Vietnam.
